Book I: Nightwalkers
Many generations ago, Caelus erupted from his underworld domain to conquer the land of the living and enslave its inhabitants. Though his efforts were eventually thwarted, fragments of his army would endure.
Centuries later, these beasts have overrun the Kingdom of Enghor and killed its only heir. To avenge his son, King Wilhelm declares that he who can travel to the far east and retrieve the third eye of a shivurna shall inherit the throne.
Oberon, sorcerer of man, enlists Gomerick, a former smith, to join him on this journey in the hope of making him heir. As Oberon reveals the world to Gomerick, it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems. War and primordial beasts arise to bring down the thinly stretched kingdom, but the will for peace is strong. Unity, honor, and courage through darkness can yet prevail.
Book II: A New Age
Death abounds. Oberon and Gomerick continue their journey to the far east with no shortage of suffering. Physical limits are tested, and friendships strained. The harsh realities of Friedünn are truly revealed.
As mankind scrambles to complete the king’s quest, those of Raj Miasto show that they will not sit idly by. Even so, there are far greater threats with their eyes fixed on the kingdom of man.
Both treachery and fidelity reign, but balance must always be achieved. Good and evil, the living and the dead, Primus and Avideus, Enghor and Caelus . . . for a new age to take hold, all must be confronted. And for there to be peace, it must be offset by hardship and sacrifice.
